‘Soup Lab’ installation
Created a giant grid that will have my degree show piece on, showing how to make visual languages from scratch.
Solving problems with language and geometric equations, the work will show how I started creating the simplest of language patterns, highlighting my thought process as they become more complicated, including the human errors, slip ups and mistakes.
I have some work in a charity silent auction tonight, pop down and grab yourself some bargain art work, with all proceeds going towards the C2 ward at Addenbroke’s Hospital

Not posted in a while. Have been busy with university, art and DJ events.
My ‘language work’ revolves around ideas of solving visual problems, everyday systems, as well as issues to do with ADHD and concentration.
I feel that while my ‘languages’ are conceptually interesting, the viewer sees the work as just a couple of lines on a wall/in a frame. To combat this, I have been looking at theories to engage the viewer in more than just a visual experience, wanting to communicate a set of personal, unique ideas that showcase an individual existance through my work, using geometric symbol.
Predominantly looking at time not being a measurement, and the incomprehensible concept of ‘4D’.Heavy blog post over, I’m going skiing.

‘Josh Worrall’ in ‘Shapeal’. Finally created a logical, consistent shape based language.
On another note, sold my second language based commision piece today. If you, or someone you know, would like their name or a phrase in one of the languages, I can do so quite cheap, with a frame.
Language, dot and sewing work up in Norwich Playhouse for a month. Also exhibiting is Hannah Turner Wallis, Gemma Timson and Grace Jaay.
